"It Worked!"

I'd known Diana for about a year when our conversation unexpectedly drifted toward implants. I told her, I had two. One buried in my left shoulder for a decade, and another I had recently discovered in my left leg, which had apparently been there for nearly twenty-eight years.

To my surprise, Diana calmly said, "I can dissolve your implants. I've done it before."

That was a relief - especially since my insurance didn't cover anything like this. We set a date for the healing.

During the session, Diana not only worked on dissolving the implants but also performed something else - something to keep them from ever taking me again. She was confident that I was now, protected.

Two months later, I awoke in the dead of night to a shock. I wasn't lying on the bed anymore - I was hovering, close to the ceiling. The instant I realized what was happening, I dropped back down onto the mattress. I scanned the room. The walls were solid. No openings, no distortions. But I remembered too well the last time. They had lifted me from my bed and carried me through a portal in the wall. On the other side was a sterile, medical looking chamber where an alien worked side by side with humans.

I knew I had to tell Diana wha happened.

And when I did...she smiled.

"It worked," she said.
